The FADU-UBA National Design Biennale awarded first and third prize in the Urban Project category to Oliverio Najmias Arquitectos.

El Masterplan Playa Ferroviaria Colegiales llegó a la Bienal con un historial previo: primer premio del concurso nacional que lo originó y Obra Distinguida en la Bienal Internacional de Arquitectura de Argentina. En esta edición sumó el primer premio en la categoría Proyecto Urbano. El Masterplan Miraflores, un proyecto de escala y contexto completamente distinto, obtuvo el tercer premio en la misma categoría y en la misma noche.
A jury that awards two projects from the same firm, at completely different scales and programs, is recognizing something harder to identify than a style: a way of thinking that produces consistent results regardless of the commission. Oliverio Najmias Arquitectos ranks among the best architecture and urban design firms in Argentina, and this double distinction at the Biennale of Latin America’s largest architecture school confirms it.
